Fairthorpe Gathering in Essex this weekend.

August 15th this years Fairthorpe Gathering is now less than a week away, Electrons, Electron Minors, the one off Formula Junior and V8 Pathfinders will be attending with 13 plus cars expected. The event is taking place at Stow Maries WW1 aerodrome in Essex, postcode is CM3 6RN.

The event was a great success with 12 Fairthorpes attending plus a Jowett Jupiter, Ginetta G21 and a TVR. An excellent venue for a club meet, with a talk on the history of the aerodrome and a guided tour round the old buildings. I have included a couple of pics, the first is Rob Cobden`s immaculate Climax poward Electron and the second is Ron Welsh`s Formula Junior......Martin
