For anyone interested in Italian automotive engineering and its history there is a great sequence of videos on YouTube, beginning with:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=skwpOefYSAw&fea...

The great man himself gives a fascinating and personal insight into the post-war world of Italian exotica, an engineer par excellence. I love the sequence where the interviewer asks Bizzarrini if he did in fact design and build a V12 engine for a Lamborghini sports car, "yes" he replies, looks around his workshop and says "look, there's the prototype over there, it was based on a Ferrari engine!".

He does, however, have a low opinion of the modern approach to engineering, especially its teachers and students. Also his memory is not so good, he makes the odd faux pas (states Gordon Keeble as being American for one).

Interesting workshop, in the background, what looks like a new chassis, possible completed, either way glad to see the old boy is still working, great man. NO cad software on laptops here, its chassis jigs, fibreglass body bucks and engineering diagrams look like there being hand drawn. Its like stepping back in time.

Possibly building replica's/ restoration work, think he actually sold the bizzarrini trade mark name.
