Slide hammer/hub puller, borrow or rent near Northampton?

I want to pull the half shafts on my Fairthorpe to change the diff ratio but really don`t want to have to lay out £40 on a puller. Posting on the off chance that some kind soul near me might have one i could borrow or rent for a day?

If you've got an old wheel, you can undo everything, then bolt the wheel to the hub & smack it with a lump hammer. Thats how I used to do it back in my MK1 Escort days. Ruins the wheel though!

I have a home-made slide hammer if it's of use - pulled a Miura flywheel off, so it's not too bad !
