Silverstone weather
Discussion
When do you have to make the decision - how late can you leave it to choose you car?
I live only about 30 minutes drive from Silverstone and do alot of track days there,
so I pay attention to many internet forecasts.
Metcheck USED to be the most reliable for the medium term forecasts
but Silverstone does have it's own micro-climate
which can fool many forecasters.

I would dearly like to know as I plan to do a possible double header , the classic on saturday , camping nearby then onto Gaydon for the All Ford rally on Sunday , camping though is not at all desirable in the rain and I have to make my mind up by this Sunday so I can book the relevant tickets etc..decisions decisions , this would have been so easy a fortnight ago.
Metcheck - sunshine - light showers

I was at Silverstone today and in hindsight the BBC was more accurate at forecasting what the weather actually was than Metcheck.
Edit to say that for this Friday both say wet but for Saturday, BBC say dry whilst Metcheck say very slightly damp .... let's see!
