Next week I am taking delivery of a 1995 range rover LSE 4.2 auto from a friend.
Its like new inside and out, only 57.500 miles with almost all history, current owner has had since 15k miles.I think there were 2 previous owners.
Then only visable rust is on the tailgate door.No rust under the bonnet and no dents .
Its just had an Mot , needs a service soon and the suspention take about 1 min to pump up from cold.
I understand that the compressor can be sorted quite easily, I will sort this.
Can anyone advise what sort of value I could expect if I was to sell and the best way to do so?

Values for these don't make much sense. Range from £900 to £20,000. I doubt you could sell one for anything near £20,000.

For reference, this one sounds very similar to yours apart from the mileage: http://carandclassic.co.uk/car/C159698/

Carandclassic.co.uk is probably your best bet to sell it. I would struggle to work out its value, though.

LSE's do have a bit of a following, I had a nice one in that it was straight and as rust free as a Classic gets, went beautifully and was gas converted, the air suspension had been overhauled and I had all the bushes etc done so it actually handled.

Chassis was perfect too and it was lpg converted, and I think I sold it for £2k - but it had done a few more miles (like double)

If yours is just genuinely nice, has no real faults, everything still works and it really has no rust at all I would expect someone might give you double that.

A mint one would be worth more but unless it's been rebuilt I doubt it's mint.

Pics required I think!
