Tatton park classic car show, anyone going?

Classic and Performance Car Spectacular with Giant Cheshire Auto-Jumble
The 24th year for one of Britain's best and most popular classic car events.Over 2,000 classic, vintage and performance cars are on show and over 80 of Britain's top club displays including Jaguar, Lotus, Mercedes Benz and a special feature by the TVR car club.Massive 2-day autojumble with classic car-mart. General trade stands, Childrens rides and refreshments.

Go most years, but this time will be there with the Lomax. Passes arived the other day.

I'll be there on Sunday with the SWB Barge (on the BMWCC Stand).

Hope the weather's good - every time I took it to a show last year it chucked it down!

All the cars are looking fantastic. I dont remember it raining last year, although i think i went to the one in September, not the June one. I hope the weather stays good too. I live in knutsford so very handy indeed, but with no roof or windscreen I probably wont turn up if it rains heavily.

I will be going in my newly restored Jag Mark 2 is there any way of getting the car in the actual show arena or is it invite only? I am a member of the JEC but don't think they are attending.

You have to apply in advance. I applied back in March IIRC. You might still be able to get in on the September show. There are always lots of really nice cars in the public car park though. If you get there early enough you might be able to park near the entrance gate to the show so everyone gets a butchers anyway. It looks really nice and i will deffinately be keeping an eye out for it.

Very dangerous indeed. The worry when in this position is you arrive homein one, only to go back and fetch the other one because it was too good to ignore.

I'll be there on the Marcos stand. Our numbers will be e bit depleted this year as it clashes with our Owners club annual gathering at Gaydon but pop by and say hello.
