Woe is me. All this sun and no Alfa.

I feel your pain. My Spider is in for accident repairs (not my fault), and I'm not expecting it back until next weekend. I'm sure it'll be raining by then. To add insult to injury, my Sunbeam Alpine is also off the road - long-term restoration project - and my Jeep has failed the MOT (needs welding).
3 convertables, and not one on the road!

I understand the pain.... My GT Junior has been off the road all winter having the inevitable welding done. I got it back and MOT'd last month, done 30 miles in it and the clutch went. So after being towed back to my house last weekend, it is still sitting forlornly outside. Hopefully getting fixed on Tuesday in time for next weekends rain!
Can't console either of you I'm afraid... both my Bertone's are off the road SORN'd for major restoration work. I found myself at a classic car show today oggling at the pristine examples of Automotive History in glorious sunshine. No Rallying for a 6 weeks for me either and even then I'm in the left seat of a Sunbeam not an Alfa.... tis a Lotus though;)
My Alfa spider is also in the garage at the moment, and I am on a ship in the middle of the north sea, so also feeling your pain.
I can see the sunny weather but cant go for a drive
But the car should be ready for me to pick up when I get home, so hopefully there will be more sun next week fingers crossed.

28C yesterday and not a car to be used. The D-type has no brakes awaiting new seals, the E-type needs a new distributor cap, and the C-type has electrical woes. So we can empathise on this. Of course, the bits will arrive shortly and all will be well, but the forecast for next weekend is rain and more rain, of which quite a lot has fallen into our lives sadly.

My 1750 GTV has no seats or carpets!
(Or MOT).
Other than that it's ready to go!
My (Your) 1750 seats are in my loft... my 2000 has no floor to put my (Your) seats into..... that's confusing isn't it (Or MOT).
Other than that it's ready to go!
Woooooooooo - the E-type now has new plug leads and distributor cap and works! The D-type has new pistons seals in the calipers and the brakes worked. Note the past tense. Once the master cylinder got to working properly again the seals have gone. New master cylinder please - and quick. And don't even ask about the C-type - please!
