You just have to catch them parked in the right place. Snapped at the 'Drive it' outing near Aberdeen today.

That was a relief – I opened this thread half expecting some sort of "didn't spot in time" incident!

^^ I was gutted - was expecting some old skool hotrod Anglia with DB5 engine driving

Southsea motor club put a V8 Chrysler in one in 1970 IIRCclap Took out the front seats because of the size of the engine and gearbox, drove it from the back bench, added a Jaguar IRS and - bingo - it would go in a straight line but not around corners.

haha cool^ yeh i was thinking it would need to be front to mid or rear to fit.

Back in the early 80's I remember a lad from Glasgow (Bearsden) with a blue Ford prefect that had a 4.2 Jag XJ6 engine in it.
