Labour charges???

Got a quote for work on my old Volvo 480 for MOT.
As follows:
Front o/s spring.
2x rear anti-roll bar drop links.
1 n/s handbrake cable.
Front brake pads.
With me supplying parts - £480 + VAT!!??

I used to work on cars and 'am totally conversant on the work involved, so am I mistaken or is my local garage a bunch of robbing barstewards?

I think they are robbing barstewards, Would say 3-4 hours labour max on that. Go somewhere else.
