I bought one of these in '93 and sold it 4 weeks later as profit was too tempting,
Looking at Mercs again as runaround motor and saw this, but can't help thinking - too good to be true.
What does everyone think?

That is stunning. Also can't help thinking there must be something wrong with it or something dodgy with the sale. Especially worrying is the blank info. scratchchin

That is beautiful. I will be interested to see how much it sells for. The lack of info is a little worrying though. There is absolutely nothing. Given that this car looks so well looked after by an enthusiast I'm surprised they haven't given every single piece of history to show off it's heritage.

The advert covers that "Former pop-star owner, we are bound to secrecy until purchase." How convenient! Would you be worried buying a car from someone with such a poor grasp of spelling? millionaires' car - how many millionaires? Bosywork perfecct - what??!!

The spelling - or lack of - made me look twice too. The lack of history was the issue that made me decide not to bid though.
