These were found in a barn in Bury St Edmunds recently after the owner passed away.

Most havent been started for 10 years.

Auction is 13th March..

That is amazing! How can the owner have done such little mileage in these cars, I’d love to know the story behind the owner.

Didn’t someone on here import a Longchamp from Australia? Bet he would be interested in the one for sale here, looks mint!

I was just going to say I fancy the Jenson, I'll have to go for the Caddy then.

Values are low because it will cost a lot lot to recommission them and might not pay off.

The last similar sale drew big money for the cars (about a year ago somewhere in the SW I think) - I would not be surprised that with all the publicity that this auction will draw a big crowd and strong money.

He already knows, I think he was one of the first people to hear about this discovery a month or so back.

As the Bentley is still not taken for the wish list, I'll go for the low mileage Turbo R.

I wonder if they'll make anywhere near those prices, other than the Bentleys for their plates!!

I'll offer £350 for the Longchamp.

Usually the lower end of the estimate is indicative of the reserve and I'm assuming there is a reserve.
scratchchin No mileage on the Bentley and those plates - is it worth 20k??
Second choice would be the Interceptor at a couple of grand but thats already taken wink.

Be interesting to see the results if anyone knows if they'll be made available after the auction.
And what would happen if they didn't meet reserve?

I think they will go ballistic, everyone seems to want the proverbial "car from a barn " these days even if the ensuing resto is uneconomical. Bragging rights?

Seem to remember a couple of ropey DB Astons making just less than mint money. I also reckon auction houses deliberately set the estimates low to make you think you are in with a chance. If someone offered me that Kahmsin for £10k I'd bite their arm off.

Mrs B8HEX always spanks me when I put commas in, coz I normally get them wrong.
