I'm back home now and able to look it up - it's a Maestro
When I suggested a Maestro my mate said "No" and I accepted this as I didn't think the model went far enough back to have a 1275 engine
I'd forgotten about the mini and Mini Metro which of ended with an A+ Series engine many years later
And I'd forgotten that the Maestro went as far back as 1983 - I'm sooooo old as a) I forgot and b) I thought the Maestro was newer
