Hi all
I have just acquired an ex historic race car and want to restore and use it on the road.
I guess it was last road registered circa 1983ish.
The Vin plate is present and a registration number is etched into each piece of glass.
I presume (but cannot be sure) that the Vin No. and reg number go together.
I did not get (or expect) a V5C when I bought it.
I know I can apply to DVLA for a V5C for £25, but wondered if I could check that the car actually 'existed' on the DVLA database before I potentially waste £25.
Any advice on how I might do this ?
