who knows about austin a70 / a90 / a110
Discussion
I have a question about the front hubs used on these Austins,
basically I need a pair of complete front hubs / wheels / tyres to suit a pair of Austin A90 uprights. they don't need to be anything special - its just to move a car thats currently stuck as its front suspension is stripped and the hubs have gone AWOL!, all I have is the stubs inwards.
the car did have discs / wires, but for now id like to find a pair of (far cheaper i hope) steel wheels and bolt on hubs - dont need any of the brake druns or backplates
does anybody know if the stub axles / bearing sizes differ in size between Austins of this age?, or if the A90 used a specific bearing/stub size combo??
big healeys also share parts with the A70 / A90, but when ever the words 'big' and 'healey' are mentioned the price of parts rockets up!
any advice appreciated!
