Hi , I thought you might like to see some pics of my lancer . Engine spec : 8 valve bottom end,16v evo head fully lightened & balanced, starion flywheel with uprated cosworth clutch, forged pistons, mulit layered steel head gasket, gas flowed head , evo 6 turbo & manifold, home made 3inch down pipe and exhaust, intercooled & charge cooled, running 2 bar of boost (around 380bhp).


New wheels (only picture i have)

Cool, nice to see another that hasn't dissolved!! Had two of these and a couple of Starions, a highly entertaining way of getting from A to B.

Interesting change of wheels, I would have died for a set Advans when I had mine!!! Silver though!

I bet that goes like hell with 380 brake!! They are quick enough to surprise people when stock!

had one of them back in the earley eighties
had it chipped by pete wales of supperchips
sold it to a postman from maidstone

Wow never seen one of them, thats a very smart car. There any sites out there that give more info? Tried google Lancer Turbo, all sorts of crap come up.

My father had a black Colt Lancer Turbo new in 1982 and it struggled to cope with the 165-odd bhp that it had then!

My father had a black Colt Lancer Turbo new in 1982 and it struggled to cope with the 165-odd bhp that it had then!
It is quite typical to mod these way past their 170bhp.
Afaik 425 LT were sold in UK- i can recall a couple of new ones at the time
Black -that is super rare -reckon at least 75% were white.

It was Dave Hinchliffe's demonstrator, I believe. Ive seen several on MLR but none so powerful.

bhp77y was a black lancer turbo i know it was cos it was mine for 8 months !

Def now on Sierra xr4x4 -it appears BHP77Y was used as a private plate in 1987- i asume owner transferred it from LT to Sierra and has remained so the Sierra (which was last on road in 2000)
So might be difficult to find new number issued to your LT
