a little brain teaser for the classic lovers on ph!

just bought a 'shelf' of spares at an auction. included was a pair of rear springs which are nothing to do with the stuff i bought.

i think they could be ac aceca springs as all the other shelves of stuff nearby related to one.

my question is this, is anyone able to id them from a photo?

roughly (i dont have them handy at the moment) they are 4 feet (ish) long, about 5 leaves thick and had (from memory) pressed in rubber bushes at each end.

they are no use what so ever to me, so id like to try and i.d them to try and move them onto someone who will be able to make use of them.

photo to follow - lost my camera lead!

Rich, can't help with the ID but the Aceca was one of my all time fave's, There was a blue one lived in Tynemouth in the 70's, had a white stripe across the top of the wings and bonnet and a lot of drool and slaver marks on it whenever I saw it. God how I wanted that car, as a spotty teenager with an MG Midget that car was the ultimate heaven.
