make sure you look through the picture gallery too.

Good article - It was the REME based near me in Arborfield that rebuilt the VW factory alongside the Germans http://www.pre67vw.com/history/history2.aspx

enjoy!

Buckley's a mate of mine and i've seen this car as a result. It's lovely and is made even better because it's mostly original - kinda makes it feel more historic if that makes sense?

In fact, my '64 Lincoln Continental was parked behind it until a few weeks ago, that made for an interesting comparison!

It looks like it has a lovely patina to it. Do you have any pics of the lincoln you could post? Shame you guys don't live near Reading as I would love to see both.

I saw this actual car at "War and Peace" during the summer.

I've got loads of shots of the Lincoln... just don't know how to post them. I s'pose there's something on here about that then...

I'm not far from you in Reading to be honest, i'm in Twickenham so it's not too far away...

I will message you when I am next driving near there and see if you are free to show the lincoln as I would love to see it. If you have pics downloaded to a site such as flickr all you need to do is get the url and type obviously with he correct url in between the [pic] bits.
