I mentioned some time ago that my brother in law Gary had bought a 1910 Swift, single cylinder 10HP. The cars restoration is progressing very well. (pictures to follow). However I would very much appreciate any advice on who to contact with regard to having the original radiator re cored. It is beyond just flushing out so needs new guts. Any advice would be very helpful, many thanks Graeme

Morning Graham, don`t what ever you do be tempted to put a film core instead.
Northampton auto rads will be able to put that right, or Cambridge Radiators.

I had my 12/50 one done by Vintage Radiators near Towcester and other people speak highly of Star Engineering in Caerleon.

This is very very helpful. Gary can now make a few phone calls tomorrow. I'll let you all know how he gets on. I am going to save the pics unitil he's finished the restoration so that you can compare before and after. A good mechanic mate had the engine running prior to tearing it all down. Apparently it sounded much like a dumper truck eek.
