Can anyone identify this car?

I know it's tricky as you can't see much detail but what is the car on this album cover?

I haven't got a clue so any guesses welcome.

It's by an American singer from the early 70s.

It was his personal Ferrari.

Various reports have it as being either a 250 Europa or a 250 Europa GT, both extreamly rare beasts by all accounts.

It's a shame most Ferraris are red these days, nice to see some individual colour schemes.
