.... and I'm doing so badly, I might as well give you folks a crack at the last 2 cars in the picture smile (still loving the paint job on the Herald, mind you).

A Farina Wolseley and a Hillman Hunter?

ETA although Hunters only came out in 1966.

Yes, from an ariel photo marked as 1963 but not very convinced the date was added at the time.... It's mainly of the pub by us, but also includes our house looking like it's just being readied for the extension that's on it now, amongst other changes. It's a bit like Google Earth Time Travel, in fact I've mentioned to my better half that it's really frustrating not being able to click-and-drag the picture to show the far end of our garden!

2nd car is 70's at least I'd say .. my guess would be a marina if the Hillman Hunter one is incorrect

Ok, so the farina/riley is fairly definate smile

I'm quite sure the 3-box saloon isn't a marina, there's no rising kick (that I can see, even blowing the original scan up high) in the window line before the c-pillar. I suppose it could be a Hunter, but then one 3 box looks much like the next at this level of detail frown

Don't think so, not enough chrome around the nose of the bonnet. I'd go with the Farina Wolseley.

Depends on the date.scratchchin

More likely a Minx, as I seem to remember the 'Hunter' name (and facelift) wasn't adopted until late sixties/early seventies ?
Also Hunters had over-riders on the bumpers, which that doesn't appear to have.

I'm sure it is not tongue out

Look at the door locks, they are a big square affair. The Hunter had protrudruding grabby handles and the ones in the picture are too large to be those type... IMO smile

And the Marina had little 'half handles'. The mystery deepens. scratchchin

The angle of the shot is deceiving you.

In case it's any extra help, here's the saloon in the size it was scanned at. It seems to be a very good scanner - picture quality wasn't all that in the first place! Fun to see a proper discussion wink
