Now managed to aquire the vintage (1934) caravan, now need to fit tow bar equipment to my 1925 Bayliss Thomas car. It has the usual ladder chassis with the rear end of chassis turning down for attachment of the springs. I understand that tow bars are now subject to MOT and so with this in mind, and I want a safe arrangement has any kind soul any experience or leads as to how I go about finding/fixing. Thanks.

I have a similar issue with a 50'S Renault Fregate.
Only option I have found so far is a bespoke job by Watlings. They offered to make me one for any car -£500.
Bit dear for me-soI'll keep hunting

Watling's at St Albans (01727 873 661) did one helluva job fitting a towbar to the Mk 1 to tow the D-type and the bill was less than I anticipated. I'd recomment them any day. Not only securely fitted but modified to avoid cutting and drilling the bumper.
