A guy at work has a problem with the engine block of his Model T. The crank sheared and in the process has split the block at the rear. There are a couple of hair line cracks and one about 1mm wide.
Is it possible to get the block repaired and can anyone recommend somewhere? He has managed to get hold of another short block but would like to get this engine repaired as it is the original with the car.

Any help welcomed

I have not used this Company but understand they have an good reputation.
www.cast-iron-repair.com who are Technilock Ltd of Derbyshire

Also www.castingrepairs.com Surelock casting repairs Ltd of Rutland.

I stress I have not used the services of these companies but they place regular ad's in 'The Automobile'.
