I am now the proud owner of a 1983 cherry red AC 3000ME. I fell in love with the car as soon as I saw it but due to work cannot collect it from the seller for another two weeks. I just wondered if there were any other owners here on PH and if so any help, advice, information will be gratefully accepted. My first question is 'does the car need lead relacement' added to the petrol? Thanks.

The back end of the 3000ME is a bit of an acquired taste, but for me the front end is one of the best looking ever produced, they are gorgeous and I'd have one in a flash if I could smile great choice thumbup

Thanks, thats exactly what I thought so will buy some lead replacement before I collect the car at the end of next week.

No pics yet but will take lots when I have the car at home.

Hi and welcome to the ME gang!! I own ME chassis no.113, send me a mail if you need any help.

You best bet is to go here:

http://www.ac3000me.com/

and create a login, there's masses of info there and they'll be very pleased to hear from you.

Which chassis no. is yours, is it 166 that was on ebay recently with the quilted interior re-trim?

Cheers,

Jeremy.
