After nearly 12 months I have finally finished restoring my GT. I cannot believe how much time and money it has cost! I have it up for sale now on Pistonheads at a fraction of what it has cost in parts alone. Be advised parts are easy to come by and it is an easy car to restore but trust me if you want to do it right it will cost a packet! So much so that I need to sell it on as my Jag Mark2 is now all but finished and this has to help pay for it as the Jag is a "keeper"

I have relisted the car on ebay starting at £5000 with no reserve, it is a shame that the GT's does not fetch better money than they do. If you compare Midgets/Spitfires/GT6 etc that have been completely rebuilt they seem to go for good money. Maybe not being a convertible hurts the car but it takes 2 sets of golf clubs and in my eyes looks better than the others I have mentioned.

Anyway if someone wants a fantastic like new MGB GT take a look they don't come any better thats for sure.

I would have preferred a chrome bumper one but the car was in such a good condition when I bought it plus these are a bit more modern with stalk wash/wipers etc. Really I should spend another £500 or so to convert it to chrome and lower it but I have spent a fortune already and am waiting to get my Mark 2 Jag back after being restored so I need the space.
