Classic car transportation central / South England
Discussion
Whilst not a specific recommendation, I've used www.shiply.com in the past to get a range of quotes. It saved me about £50 on the best quote that I got by phoning around, and as I wasn't in a hurry, and kept seeking quotes for a few days, I got further reductions until they all settled at the same sort of price. I then selected the one that I wanted to use on perceived quality by looking at their websites and the feedback that had been left about them.
I hope that this helps.

Also worth speaking to Andrew at Advent Motorsport - www.adventmotorsport.co.uk - I have used them numerous times to transport the Healey by either covered trailer or flat access truck.
They are based relatively close to Stansted so should be ideal

I can recommend Moto-move, www.motomove.co.uk he rescued a Car localy for me and provided an excelent service at minimal cost. We got to talk about classics 9as you do!) and it turns out most of his work was moving high end classics around for a southern dealer.
Nice bloke.
