Been sent this via e-mail:

I've - so far - done searches on Audi, Auto Union, Mercedes, BMW, Horch, DKW, Mercury, VW, Porsche. And nothing even close.

I think it's German. The headlights look "Ponton" style, and there is (what looks like) a Karmann Ghia of some description in the background, and the hub caps have a 356 sort of style to them.

Help appreciated!

I'm not convinced it is, but could it be a Borgward of some sort?

Actually, looking again at the car in the background it could be a Renault Dauphine?
