Crash box advice
Discussion
I'm considering getting a Fiat 500 in the near future but I believe unless they've been upgraded with a 126 engine and gearbox combo, they come with a non- synchromesh box.
I'm familiar with rev matching coming down the gears, heel and toe, etc. But I don't know about anything else. Should I double-declutch going up, I have no Idea.
Thanks, Dan

Not sure about the 500, although I think Gran had one in the garage, but many cars in the 30's and 50's had partial syncro-boxes, so one didn't need to DD on upchanges, to 3rd and 4th. I'd be surprised on full crash box, even with a small 500cc engine, that one doesn't need some way of reducing the engine revs.
As said you get used the rythym and engine notes.
