Can anyone recommend a company providing short term (by the day) cover that understands classic cars? The usual web suspects throw a fit when they can't find an insurance group for the car. rolleyes

I need to get a SORN'ed car to it's MOT and back (so I can then get full insurance, and a free tax disc ....).

I don't know whether it is going to pass, hence trying to avoid the hassle of taking out annual cover.

It is a possibility though if a prorata refund is offered for cancellation.

Ring up Footman James. They are specialists in classic cars & I have always found them pretty good.

That raises the point of test drives. Do Day Insure or anyone do specialist cars?
