Mericas (?) Garage, Stockport.

Hello,

Does anyone remember or know of a garage run by 'Theo Mericas' (I think Mericas was his surname, but not 100% sure). It was located very close to the blue pyramid shaped building next to the M60 in Stockport. My E-Type was being stored there when I bought it back in 1995. It was a fairly small place, but he had some nice cars in there including the Lotus DAD10, which he had painted. He also rebuilt the shell on my car (for the previous owner, who subsequently ran out of money and decided to sell the dismantled car as a project). The work he did appeared to be of a very high standard, if fact at least two highly regarded E-Type restorers who saw my car before final painting commented on the quality of the panelwork. I'm therefore surpried I can't now find any reference to the place at all.

According to Google Earth its exactly the same place I collected my car from. Strange as I'm sure he said he was clearing out ready for moving, and that was back in '95. Listed under 'New Cars' and no website either.
