It's the Enfield Pageant this Saturday,Sunday and B/hols Monday. Just off the A10 North of London.
Anyone planning on going? Hopefully if the weather is good, I'll take the MG out for the day.smile

Went there today (Saturday). Poorly attenbded by exhibitors, lots of empty gaps where pitches were either unrented or the exhibitor had not bothered turning up, really quite a small display area, very much run of the mill stuff with very little that was unusual or exotic. Fine if Morris 1100s, Vivas, Anglias, MGBs, etc & the odd yank are your thing, otherwise don't bother

I agree, it was rubbish, its getting more like a bootfair than an autojuble, doubt very much whether i`ll be going again, sad because i`ve been there for the last 6 years.....and by the way a TR4 was stolen from the car park so i heard. Valencia blue, so eyes peeled if anyone gets offered one cheap, or in fact any panels that are valencia blue.

Got very close to going in (in Enfield by the turn-off)then thought better of it and went home. Didn't see any old -cars in the vicinity either.

Last time I went (possibly 6 years ago) it was st then too.

I went on Saturday and paid £9 to wander round something similar to a PH meet with a car boot sale tagged onto it. I don't begrudge the donation to the organisers at all, but I do think on a commercial level it fails to offer enough to jusitfy the cost.

I was there on both Saturday and Sunday. Have been going for some 25+ years and it's the only show on the calender that the car goes to religiously come rain or shine. I have in recent times really seen some changes there. Was the first dry year out of the previous 4 and as previously mentioned, there were a good few stall's missing from the Auto jumble. Saturday is always quiet for car exhibits so was looking forward to Sunday but, Sunday was kinda quiet too! Only 2 steam engines, hardly any / no commercial vehicles - only light commercial and car clubs were not what they used to be.

I hope this isn't true but maybe this is the beginning of the end ?????

Pictures to follow soon chaps.

Went a few years ago in the TVR as I heard it was a good event. As soon as I got there I was worried about the car as the place was full of pikeys selling crap and looking at crap. Anyway, blagged my way into the infield so I could keep an eye on the car at all times, never again, total rubbish.

Funnily enough, earlier in the year I contacted the organisers to see how much they were charging for a pitch (I produce and sell historic motorsport / classic car and classic bike dvd's) with a view to taking a pitch and selling some stuff. They told me it was over £300 for the one day - which was WAY too expensive for me.
