Wire wheels tyre fitting
Discussion
Slightly further south you would get MWS at Slough/Langley.
The mainly sell wire wheels and tyres but I suspect they fit them for you too. When I bought a set of tyres from them last year they were meticulous in the care they took fitting them, even to the extent of trying the tyre in different positions when they felt they were needing too much balance weight.

I remember answering this last year, anyway, find a good tyre shop who fits tube type tyres, the principle is the same for wire wheels as any other wheel, the only difference really is fitting the protection band in the well of the wheel, note i say good, i.e someone who actually cares about doing the job properly. I work for a major chain and have fitted many of these, but i wouldn't want some of the other fitters i know attempting it. If you fancy a trip to cambridge i'll be back at work next week and can fit and balance them properly too, would you need the bands and tubes etc supplying or have you already got them yourself? I'd need a couple of days to get them delivered as they're not a stock item. Send me a Message and i'll let you know where we are.
