JUst watched it and apart from the title and Jason being a bit on the chunky side it wasn't bad for an amateur production.
What was the car behind Jason while they were doing the piece on the E Type in the car showroom. It was black and reg number was BSK 518.
Lovely Espada in there as well.

I saw the series first time round a few months ago and whilst it was a bit hit and miss there were some good episodes in particular later on in the series where they seem to develop a more solid format. There was one episode dedicated entirely to Jaguar which I found most entertaining, whilst Chris Searle features his own Aston DB2 in another show.

Just watched it on repeat, I thought it was good. The fat bloke (Jason Dawe)is from used car road show and it looks like it is made by the same small tv company. (A bit amature like) Worth a watch if you like older cars or find top gear just a loud entertainment show.

"The ten part series to be shown on ITV4 sees him celebrating some of the world's greatest classic cars as he gets behind the wheel of everything from an Austin Allegro to a Lamborghini Countach. Classic Gear is the latest in a long line of motoring shows, including the highly successful Used Car Roadshow, which Jason has presented for ITV making him one of the most recognised motoring personalities on British TV.
Jason said Classic Gear has been great fun to shoot and whilst for many viewers it will be a trip down memory lane it will also introduce a whole new generation of petrol heads to some of the great cars from the past 4 decades"

Just how many Allegro's have you owned? or even seen in the flesh? for such a rounded and informed opinion on one of Britains fastest appreciating classics.Ben Magoo said:

Having said the above I can see why they are appreciating, mainly due to the scarcity.
I would still happily buy the ultra rare estate if I could find one at a sensible price.
An interesting concept, weak production values, obviously shot with a tight budget, and the script needs work...yet very watchable and better than most TV on in the UK today. The subject matter is top notch, covering everything from the obscure through to the most popular and aspirational cars on the road!
I think the episode the OP was referring to was possibly shot in the showroom at Legends near Bourton on the Water in Gloucestershire - the mid blue Daytona in the back ground has been there for a while now and is lovely in the flesh so to speak.
The BSK registered car I think was an XK120 FHC.
