After some advice/recommendations.

Am visiting the UK twice in May and thought it would provide an ideal opportunity to the the wheels refurbished for my GT Junior.

Anyone on here know of somewhere I can approach to get the wheels stripped and repainted?

Wheels are Cosmic alloys. I am thinking they would need shot blasting to get the old finish off as it hasn't faired very well, although the wheels/tyres hold their air pretty well.

Looking for a drop off service around Suffolk/Essex.

Thanks

Try wheelrefurbishing.co.uk they are in south Herts just off the M25 in a place called Flaunden. Pain to find but they are excellent and do a lot of the bigger wheel shops refurbs. Restored my cosmics, currently doing a set of Dunlop D1's for me. Blasted, powder coated black, diamond cut to rims etc (just like cosmics) £210 including putting on new tyres!

Try John at jppolishing.co.uk, in Canvey, Essex. I have had far too many wheels refurbed there and his service is second to none and pretty cheap.

+1. I own a powder coating company in essex and when it comes to alloy wheels John is your man. We always refer people to him as he uses the correct acids to strip the wheels and is very very reasonable.

Lepsons (or is it Lepsoms in Kent) have a good rep.
