Hi chaps,

Does anyone know if there is a website(s) where I can look up original list prices for say 1960s/1970s/1980s cars?

Cheers

Not heard of anything like that, and the costs need to be put into perspective- my Aston cost about £4K in 1971, and that seems cheap but what can that compare to?

When I wrote my book on the Aston V8 1969-2000 (blatant plug I know) the only constant I could use was the Mini- in BMC, Leyland, Auston or Rover forms. Interetsingly, the % difference was always very simmilar- sopmething I was very surprised about

Something like this perhaps?

This from October 1963. I have thousands of old magazines here with the prices in.

I've only got a few, but it's when you find ads for C-Types for less the cost of 2nd hand XK140s that I find it distressing biggrin
