I have a full restored body/engine etc MGB GT that I have on ebay
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&am...

I have relisted as the winning bidder has pulled out thankfully as it was only just over £2,000. I am restoring a Jag Mark 2 so this has been shelved so to speak. I live in the North West and was wondering if anyone who has a knowledge of MG's would be willing to complete the build at an agreed price. I have a large garage and all tools but if necessary I can transport everything if needed.

Please PM me if anyone is interested.

Thanks

Kev

I think you'll find it hard to find anyone experienced who would agree to complete the rebuild at an agreed price. Just because most rebuilds end up with extras, things that don't fit how they should and require adjustment, all sorts of unexpected stuff, all of which can make a difference to the time it takes to complete.

As always, contact the MGOC and ask for their advice. They'll know MG specialists in the area. The only safe way to go.

I'll go with that. A bloke in a filling station with a beautiful '65 roadster nearly burst into tears when I complimented him on it. He had rebuilt it on a Heritage shell and it was only going to cost a few quid. He finished up spending £23,000. And this was four or five years ago.

Best garage I use for my B is Entune in Bolton. Always been very helpful & resonably priced.
