Why does it look rubbish then?
Obviously well made. An 'homage' to the original rather than a replica.
I'd guess it is probably made out of an old XJ6 so no real sacrilege there then.
I like to think that my taste in cars is quite eclectic and there are very few branches of the hobby that I cannot appreciate for what they are.

The problem, to my mind, with all these things is the use of tini wini modern wheels. The real thing should have tall skinny one, not short fat ones.
The same was true with the Panther DeVille and J72.
Even when they get the wheels right, like a Suffolk SS100 the brakes don't look right, at least I've not seen one which does. No that I'd mind one of their SS100s though.

It's threads like this that lets you know which posters are true car enthusiasts and which are narrow minded classic car snobs that turn their noses up to anything they don't have the intelligence to understand.
Well if not liking that car means I am a "classic car snob" then sign me up.It doesn't look right, it won't go right and it won't smell right.
