the car is in bits at the moment i have it advertised in ford section under classics on this site just put it on about an hour ago there is a couple of pics on there the car needs 2 small bits of welding on gear box tunnel prep and paint then putting back together really all doors boot bonnet and front wings need to be put back on too
I'm probably being really thick here. Sorry if I am....
The car at the moment is a rolling chassis (once the rear axle is put back on). Apart from a couple of patches, the welding is done.
Is the glass in or needs to go in?
What is the condition of the engine and gearbox?
I can't view the pictures full size at the moment, does the whole car need repainting? Or just the bits where the welding has been done?
Is there an interior with the car? I appreciate that the backseat would be useless with a 5link kit put on.
Where abouts in the country are you?
Sorry for the stupid questions. I'm looking at the net on my phone.

not daft at all i would rather people ask the glass is here but not in the car there is no gearbox with the car the engine is in bits and has been for about 18 years the car will need respraying no carb with engine there are steel wheels if wanted. the car is no overnight project but with some graft is a special car
So, mechanically what is missing apart from the gearbox? are the brakes complete? I take it a re-wire would be needed? window rubbers? is the front suspension standard or has it been rose jointed and compression strut etc?
I'm not interested myself but my Dad is. I'm relaying the info down the phone to him.
Thanks for the answers so far.

if i was keeping the car myself, i would buy a new engine because of how long this one has been apart and how much it would cost to pay someone to rebuild (aprox £600) it needs a gearbox, it needs discs and brakes, they are here but have been stripped from car for 18 years. it needs brakelines and wheels with these sort of projects you do really need to see the car and decide on how you want it and what your budget is. i had in mind of using it for track and show days and would probably spend £3000 to get it how i wanted it. i hope this helps. cheers andy
there are no brakes on the axle it is an atlas axle the discs and calipers are here but have been stripped for 18 years not worth salvaging in my opinion. for more pictures go to ebay item 150328869392 ive started bidding at 1500 but i will be wanting alot closer to 2500 than that cheers andy
