That's it the recession has done me. Is there anyone out there interested in buying my project? As I can no longer afford to complete it!

Had a look at your ad but it's not for me at the minute. Sorry.

Good luck though, I'm sure it will sell fairly easily. smile

I'm probably being really thick here. Sorry if I am....

The car at the moment is a rolling chassis (once the rear axle is put back on). Apart from a couple of patches, the welding is done.

Is the glass in or needs to go in?

What is the condition of the engine and gearbox?

I can't view the pictures full size at the moment, does the whole car need repainting? Or just the bits where the welding has been done?

Is there an interior with the car? I appreciate that the backseat would be useless with a 5link kit put on. smile

Where abouts in the country are you?

Sorry for the stupid questions. I'm looking at the net on my phone.

So, mechanically what is missing apart from the gearbox? are the brakes complete? I take it a re-wire would be needed? window rubbers? is the front suspension standard or has it been rose jointed and compression strut etc?

I'm not interested myself but my Dad is. I'm relaying the info down the phone to him.

Thanks for the answers so far.

if i was keeping the car myself, i would buy a new engine because of how long this one has been apart and how much it would cost to pay someone to rebuild (aprox £600) it needs a gearbox, it needs discs and brakes, they are here but have been stripped from car for 18 years. it needs brakelines and wheels with these sort of projects you do really need to see the car and decide on how you want it and what your budget is. i had in mind of using it for track and show days and would probably spend £3000 to get it how i wanted it. i hope this helps. cheers andy
