wow, just not seen these days.
There is an old fashioned scrap yard in Devon around a lovely old house but i cant remember where it is.

I went there 15 years ago and there must have been more than 500 cars from 1930-1960 outside. I was shown round the inside of the house where every room was stuffed to the roof with car parts - one room, doors, next bonnets etc. Floors and ceilings bending under the weight.

Came away with loads of bits for a Standard Pennant I was rebuilding at the time.

A magazine article a few months ago said that many of the cars outside had been removed and the place generally cleaned up.

Ah thats the one. i went there 15 years ago too. picking up bits for a moggy 1000 my friend was restoring. we spent all day there just mesmorised.
Might have to nip up htere see what its like now.
