Ready for the season!
Discussion
Just to reassure you over the other side of the water it took the GF 3 hours to cover the 15kms here last night. Today all schools are closed and the roads a bloody mess. They went by an hour ago sanding the road and now the snow plough has taken the top layer off - with the sand - and left a skating rink. Maybe we'll soon be getting the wrong kind of leaves on the railway lines too...........
Last time I was in snow on a French motorway it was coming from Geneva over towards Grenoble, by the time I got to the top of the first hill the snow ploughs were out. I guess they are used to it on that stretch of road. Yesterday there was so much salt on the M3 that you almost needed full time washer jets just to see out the windscreen.

Think I'l pass on the swimming offer ta! but that exhaust on your 'D' type, how the eck do you not keep ripping it off when driving?
I guess it is a bit of trick photo with 6 ins of snow! Yes, the alloy protection bubble where the down pipes exit is pretty scraped but the exhaust is not really as low as the E type at the rear and certainly better than a Healey 3000. Also, just thought you'd like to know it is -15C this morning here. Global warming is really having an effect it seems.Edit: 9am and just brought the wood in for the fire. It is now -17C...........
