We took the SS7 clan to see this kids movie at the weekend. Its a magical realism tale that works for both kids and grown-up kids, I suppose similar in feel to the Spiderwick Chronicles.
However, a decent petrolhead had a ball sourcing the cars used in the movie. In the street scenes (its set in Switzerland and Italy), I caught glimpses of 60’s Alfa Guilietta, 60's Fiat 500, and Lancia Fulvias coupe and sedan. In starring roles were a 70's VW Combi, a Crinkle Cut Citroen Van, and a DS Chapron cab amongst others!
