Such a shame they can't do something about the afwul lighting in there
It doesn't look as bad when you're there - perhaps I need a better camera, or spend ome time playing with the settings. I borrowed my daughters digital and have never spent any time learnign how to use it!Here's a few (quite a few) pics of my eclectic tastes - sorry for the 3 images of the Sunbeam Lotuses but that's why we were there and ultimately "we" (The ARCC) won "Best Large Club Stand" for our Celebration of the 60th Anniversary of the Rootes Competition Department. And yes the lighting is rubbish - a 3 day headache !!!

Here's a couple of mine from 2 years ago - believe me its not your camera, the colour cast is nightmarish!
I think you guys ought to look at the camera settings. Tungsten lighting give a terrible cast on the photo. In the menu there are usually various settings for the white balance to overcome this problem, outdoors or in. That E type has been doing the circuit for some years now and I would doubt has done more than a few miles in all that time. Sad really - it was made to be driven. Trailer and show queens just aren't my thing at all.lowdrag said:

So with a mix of various colour temperature lighting sources (inluding a little daylight) it's most unlikely that any camera setting in the menu will achieve correct looking colours.
Look at miniman's image of the Escort; the top left of frame has a lot of magenta in it (where there has been an over-correction of a predominently green light source at some stage in the image production) yet the (vertical) front of the car has a lot of blue in it (some daylight influence or flash?).
You can only correct for one light source at a time and even then any areas that are shadowed will take on the cast of the correction.
