so what is it about the P4,5 & 6 series cars that is so appealing?!
i love the things!,
P4,
indeed, the classic "Auntie" Rover is the P4 and the first of the postwar(?) P car Rovers
small, dainty and very stylish in the 50's way
P5,
its stately, its majestic, it was favoured by royalty and PM's, it was (IMO) David Bache's finest hour and its my personal fave, can't beat the P5 IMO!
love the stately elegance of the P5B Coupe with its swept back roof, Rostyles and the eager 3.5 RV8 up front, effortlessly indeed!
saloon or coupe, V8 or Straight 6, its the real deal middle class hero!
P6,
the more numerous perhaps, but no less appealing P6
P6 3500 is a lovely cruiser and the rare P6B manual was faster than some sports cars in its day and made a very capable police car too!
Proper P series Rovers, you gotta love 'em eh?!

I had a P5B Coupe years ago. Great looking car, but one of the most unreliable things I've ever had. Used to eat gearboxes, overheat, not start, starve itself of petrol and generally just stop working for and reason possible.
Hated the fking thing.
Having said that, I'd still have another.

I love these ol' Rovers, have a real thing for P6's at the moment
you might like these then, few mentalist P6's from a hot rod show i went to! ,if anybody else here has any tales or snaps of their Rovers, feel free to share
I wish I'd made more time and the weather was more favourable to allow more outings in my '65 P5 Mk2 Saloon this year...such a beautiful drive.
BTW if you love the P4 BRACE YOURSELF before tuning into the Discovery Channel at 10pm tonight...
Jools Holland commisions his version of the Rover P4 Jet Car - on Chop Shop !

cheers for posting the link!
Right James those are all very nice but probably most (if not all) are garage/show queen vehicles - here is a daily drive and it's the third in a row
Some of the owners above (and t-t/T W) may blush with embarrassment as this car isn't even garaged over night let alone over winter
Nice to see cars actually used rather than just on their way to or from a show or MOT station
If you must continue to hero worship James pick the right cars
