The Cobra LM is a Superformance. Great looking car. Jay Leno is driving a real one this week on http://www.jaylenosgarage.com/video/video_player.s...

That blue and cream thing is an NSU Prinz. Funny little car.

As you noticed the music I chose is Such a Shame. That's because true racing isn't possible in the Netherlands due to strict sound emissions legislation. Rediculous. Kills all initiatives before they get the chance to grow to something really beautiful.
One of the most beautiful circuits in the world is now not much more than a very wide boulevard... (well that's a bit exaggerated, but you get the point).
Almost all Lambos got the black flag because they were too noisy. How can a work of art like a Miura be too noisy???

indeed, anyone with a miura should be allowed to do whatever they like!

is there no racing at all in NL??? that explains a few things, especially the ridiculously cheap squadra bianca cars that pop up on marktplaats from time to time.

it is indeed a shame though. i am hoping to move to the netherlands in early 2009 and would be working only a few miles from zandvoort frown

Not much of a racing culture over here frown
Where are the days of F1 at Zandvoort? A pain to get there in the first place: no wide roads at all.
And then the legislation:
There are only 5 days a year where overall average sound production of the circuit may exceed 55 dB IIRC.
The other 360 days it has to stay below 50 dB.
