The Silverstone Classic

I can't see a thread here on this and it amazes me. This event was in many ways better than the Goodwood Revival with close racing and each grid full with 50 cars racing. The music, the wing walkers, the Spitfire and Mustang, the awesome sight of the Hawker Hunter going vertical, the overall sense of cameraderie and not one problem or hassle; this was a weekend full of memories. I'm still in the UK but will post some of my photos when I return to France after XK60 this weekend. If they don't make you want to be there next year, you don't like motor sport!

Loads of photos on here, but no specific heading. It was a marvellous weekend and much better than the FOS. The Goodwood Revival is great but you cannot get as close to things as at Silverstone.

Totally agree, a fantastic event, I enjoyed it as much as the Le Mans Classic. Hope Silverstone continue to keep up the good work, already in the diary for next year

As a competitor in a couple of races at the Silverstone Classic, I couldn't agree more!

The event is fabulous! I enjoyed every minute of every day. Can't wait for next year!

What were you racing? I might have a few good shots but it depends in what race and class. Have you looked here to see if you are already shown?
