I can't wait wait either!

I'll be going up in my new toy (ELise S1) in convoy with my folks in their Alfasud Sprint driving

If you spot us say hi wavey I'm the short guy in a tweed jacket and my folks are equally short but my father has long scruffy hair so we should be easy to spot!

Sadly not going in my "proper" car as it is to far, just going for the sights, sounds and smells.

It is a fantastic weekend. I'll be there on the Sunday only.

A couple from last year:

Lovely, the top car is Mrs Jo Jo, (an Austin Special from the 20s.)

I have a great picture of this car on my site, (click for LOTS more!);

I had lunch with the current owners, the son of H C "Knobby" Spero and the daughter of Gordon England, (who owned it before Spero) over the summer.

Below is an Austin Ulster, (guessing it is a replica as mine is.)

Unfortunately not, my car is no longer VSCC certified as it is now mine rather than my dads. He has done it though, used to drive it down with either me or my brother, (vintage Sunbeam) bicycles on the back and all the camping gear in the "boot". (We live in East Surrey.)

God knows what's wrong with a trailerwink

All good fun when I was young, still wondering if I can get my 2 year olds car seat in it. Not sure if the wife would approve though. (He would love it.)

Went to Le Mans in it one year as well, I was sick out of the side of it on the Mulsanne staright after one to many Pernods. (I was 16 by this point...)

At the moment I am hoping to do Prescott on the Saturday and Wroughton Classic (Swindon) on the Sunday and then XK60 the weekend after before I go back to France.

My brother entered again this year, but was unfortunate this time and got the dreaded rejection letter, the event is always very over-subscribed. He's a bit mift as it was working well at Shelsley. So we'll be in the Orchard on Sunday en famillie (Frazer Nash, Alvis, Sunbeam). Not sure about Saturday yet. Oh and I've asked if I can borrow my brother-in-law's Speed 20 Alvis, which would be nice.

Anyone know where to find an entry list?

I'll hopefully be going, anyway, but it would be nice to know what's running. I've been hoping the Issigonis Lightweight Special would make an appearance. boxedin
