general gassing has some good threads with potential bargains, i think we should have something similar on here. anything you see when browsing that is an absolute bargain should be shared.

I'll start. a bit late as the auction ended, but this elan was an absolute steal for someone:

This may not end up being a bargain, (no bids yet).

But I love the photos of this car, it makes it look like a giant Airfix kit.

The XJ 220 is wider and the XJ8 LWB is longer so I am not convinced it is anymore.

there was an amazing one on ebay a few months back. an exact, and i mean exact replica of the BL works touring cars. the guy who did it had an absolutely massive amount of info. he'd collected/researched along with BL racing memorabilia he'd sourced. car was spot on with all the right bits and was up for about £8-9k iirc with an additional couple of grand for the other stuff.

my own near miss was a fwd 1300. pale blue with unmarked red interior, steel wheels, and a full-house sprint engine and rwd conversion driving

theres a lovely group 2 racer in this months c&sc as well.

This looks rather smart. Wouldnt usually go for a loud green car but its very 70's and I think rather suits it. Ebay link

Just over £500 at the moment with a few days left...

That looks very cheap. Classic Minis seem to be hugely expensive as a rule these days, much like vaguely decent mk2 Escorts.
