1928 Bentley 4 1/2 Litre
Discussion
I'm just itching to tell you chaps about this...
I got dragged along to the Kent County Show yesterday to watch a load of showjumping. Anyway, my boredom was lifted when I spotted the historic vehicle section
So I'm merrily making my way along the line up of Austin 1100's and Morris Itals when I spot the unmistakable prow of a twenties Bentley!
I had a lovely chat with the owner who'd been dragged into doing the display... he said the car was happiest on the open road, but had agreed to do a few demonstration runs around the display ring...
AND...
... he had a spare seat riding shotgun if I'd like to go along for the ride
A fantastic experience that I hope will be repeated! It was amazing to think that the owner could be so down-to-earth
It's certainly strengthened my resolve to find a Mk VI or R-Type
