Austin 7 scuttle vent?

Hi all, i know we have some Austin 7 owners on here. i am after a scuttle vent from the later sevens. I want to fit it to my caterham on the drivers side as there is terrible heat soak from the exhaust and engine bay and i feel one of these wouldnt look out of place.
Can someone direct me to a good source for one of these please? I have had a look on the net but havent found them listed at all.

I have had a look at my A7 suppliers cat's and cannot find a scuttle vent. However, try www.vintagecarparts.co.uk These people do sell scuttle vents and may well have one to suit your need. Good luck.

Have you tried a chandlers? as obviously it doesn't need to be a genuine A7 one does it? Although I bet the genuine A7 ones were from a boat supplier anyway.

They are also the perfect size to keep a can of beer cool as well.
