Mercedes Benz Collection

I have a new found interest in classic Mercedes Benz and wondered outside of MB in Germany if there are any world class collections? Given the importance of this motor car it seems that there are no major collections like you would find in Ferrari or Bugatti? On conducting research into the marque I was unaware until recently quite what a wide range of models have been manufactured. Prolific

Mercedes have their own collection in Stuttgert but I'm not sure if it is open to the public, there is also Mercedes World at Brooklands which is.

The MB Museum in Stuttgart is excellent. I'll post some photos over the weekend. Being German, there is of course an excellent cafe with beer.
