I've posted this under the Le Mans section but it does no harm to post it here too. Here is the definitive list of cars which can park inside the circuit. You'll notice that a photo of the car is required.

Slightly peculiar.
This means that I can turn up and gain access in my '86 Merc 500 coupe, but a 3.8 Mk2 Jag would be prohibited if it was post '67.
And why is the Mk X on the list? It could hardly be defined as a sporting Jaguar.
Still, I like the bit about tracksuits being banned; hopefully that also applies to shell suits, trainers and "hoodies"!

Any pre 1966 car is allowed access which I guess just about covers nigh-on every Riley

It only mentions Pagodas as far as I can see.

Depends if they are Recreations, replicas or fake :-)

(not that it bothers me in the slightest, as long as its a blast to drive and there's no fraudulent claims)

I don't think they care about that at all since replicas are virtually unknown in France. If I want to register my Lynx D type (1967 so theoretically not acceptable) they want to put it through the crash test. For some reason I keep it on british plates. As long as it looks the part you'll get in - just be economical with the truth on any written application. As this photo shows though, we even managed to drive into the paddocks (all of them too) and were never asked for identity! Sadly that was in 2004, but security was much tighter in '06 and is promised to be tighter again this year.
